The Ministry of Home Affairs wishes to inform the general public that the requirements for foreign private vehicles entering French Guiana are as follows:  
1. Driver must be in possession of an International Driver’s License
2. Original Registration of Vehicle
3. An International Insurance Certificate for the vehicle
4. Health Insurance for driver and each passenger
5. Visa for entry into country for driver and each passenger
 
Once these requirements are met the vehicle would be admitted in French Guiana for a period up to three (3) months. Thereafter the vehicle must leave the country or be registered in French Guiana as an imported vehicle.
